Federico Acuña (politician)
Federico Acuña has served as the Paraguyan Interior Minister under President Fernando Lugo 2011.[1][2] He is a former Police Chief.[2]
Biography
He was born in San Pedro del Paraná.[3] Prior to becoming Minister, he was the National Police Chief.[3] In 2009, he was accused by former Interior Minister Rafael Filizzola of turning a blind eye to corruption.[3][4] On February 17, 2011, he was appointed as Interior Minister.[2]
